This larger update to Simple Invoicing brings yearly reports, new invoice filters, and clearer account settings. We have also moved to more powerful hosting.

Recurring invoices

Create invoices for regular services on schedule

A recurring schedule in Simple Invoicing creates a fresh invoice at the selected interval with a current number, dates, client, and line items.

  • Start a schedule from scratch or prepare it from an existing invoice.
  • Choose a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly interval and an optional end date.
  • Pause, resume, or archive a schedule while generated invoices remain ordinary independent documents.

Payments

Automatically match bank payments to unpaid invoices

Incoming bank payments are compared with unpaid invoices in Simple Invoicing. A single clear match is marked paid automatically.

  • Enable matching in Settings and have your bank send payment notifications to your unique address.
  • Payments are compared by amount, currency, and any available reference or destination account.
  • A clear match is marked paid automatically; ambiguous payments remain unchanged for review.

Never enter an invoice number manually again

Number formats automatically generate the next number whenever you create an invoice.

  • Use multiple numbering formats at the same time.
  • Choose from formats you have previously used while creating an invoice.
